The Call of the Loon cabin is located in Otisfield, Maine which is only 45 minutes northwest of Portland, Maine.
Seasonal rate information:
Fall 2007 to Spring 2008
(Saturday, September 10 through Saturday, June 17)
Rates are as follows:
Weekly rate: $1,250
3-night weekend rate: $695 (choice of Thursday or Sunday as third night stay)
Holiday Weeks
Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Year's, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day
Weekly rate: $1,500
Weekend rentals are not available during holiday weeks.
Peak Summer Season
(Saturday, June 17 to Saturday, September 10)
Weekly rate: $2,500 per week
Weekend rentals are not available during the peak season.
Additional information
Lease deposit
We require a 50% deposit to confirm your date and the balance is due at least 30 days prior to occupancy.
State of Maine rental tax
A 7% sales tax is applied to all rentals to be paid to the State of Maine.
Cleaning fee and trash pick-up
A $75 cleaning fee and a $10 trash pick-up fee are additional charges to all rentals.
Security deposit
A $300 security deposit is also required at least 30 days prior to occupancy. This check is cashed. The deposit will be returned to you once the house has been checked by the cleaning company.
Keys
We will instruct you where to find the keys at the cabin upon arrival.
Lease Agreeement
All guests to the Call of the Loon cabin sign a lease agreement protecting both parties from risk
